VISION

AUSSP is a premier student space program known for the professional quality of its graduates manifested by the job offers they land in positions of high responsibility and for its high success rate in its spacecraft operations.

MISSION

Establish and sustain a student satellite capability at Auburn University whose purpose is to grow a skilled technically oriented workforce, to attract top tier students to AU in science, mathematics, engineering and management, and to put AU on the map in the area of space exploration and utilization.

Goals

GOAL #1 AUSSP graduates are among the best in their field.

• They have developed top skills in practical management, teamwork, communication, systems engineering and in their area of expertise.

• They have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.

GOAL #2 AUSSP attracts top tier students to Auburn University every year.

GOAL #3 AUSSP launches space missions on a regular basis with a success rate matching the best programs in the world.
