High School Outreach

Mission

The mission of High School Outreach is to recruit high school students to Auburn University by integrating them and our team. The high school students will gain experience in a workforce environment and college.

Long Term Goals

1. To recruit top high school students to attend Auburn University and become a part of our team.

2. To encourage high school students to enter math, science, and engineering related professions by giving them direct hands-on experience.

3. To provide science enrichment to students in rural, disadvantaged areas.

4. To assist the science team in gathering and analyzing data from the high school sensors (which will continue to be flown in the future).

5. To improve the communication/teaching skills of current AHAB members (who will teach students how to use each subsystem).
